The Astronots by Mora V. Harris produced by the BU Players (Bloomsburg University). The production ran November 2 to 5, 2023, at the Alvina Krause Theatre in downtown Bloomsburg. This fabulous play was first developed during the Plays in Bloom Residency at Bloomsburg University. The play, filled with humor and heart, centers on out-of-touch billionaire Alston Garth’s taking four civilians with him into space on what they expect to be a 90-minute ride… It becomes much more. Certificate of Merit for Outstanding Ensemble from KCACTF Region 2.

The Nosemaker’s Apprentice: Chronicles of a Medieval Plastic Surgeon by Nick Jones & Rachel Shukert, directed by David A. Miller, Bloomsburg University, February to March 2015. The production used the same design approach as the professional production with Amphibian Stage Productions in the summer of 2014. Sean Urbantke re-imagined his set design for a larger theatre and David Lanza’s sound design delighted and grossed out audiences in Bloomsburg. New designs from Zak Knoll (lights) and Emily Miller (costumes) gave this Nosemaker’s a makeover.

Macbeth by William Shakespeare, directed by David A. Miller, Bloomsburg University, November 2014. In this production, women dominate the cast and the world of the play. Featured actors include Kellyanne Klause as Macbeth, Chelsea Lucas as his Lady, and Bry Kifolo as Macduff. David was also the Scenic Designer for this production.
